Meta is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join the Business Education team, a global training team dedicated to delivering exceptional learning experiences for people across multiple channels. As an Instructional Designer on the Meta Blueprint team, you will play a crucial role in designing content that educates small businesses, agencies, global partners, and advertisers on how to achieve their business goals using the Meta family of apps and services.The Business Education team creates Meta Blueprint learning content and has three pillars: Online (eLearning: online courses and video), In-person (live and virtual webinars), and Certification (proctored exams that test advanced-level competency in advertising). In this role, you will have the opportunity to create educational content for various global audiences, collaborating internally with teams across the organization to curate training content, explore new training methods, and develop ILT, VILT, video and eLearning education solutions. You will be responsible for new content development and maintenance of existing content with regular updates, ensuring that our scaled education remains accessible to businesses of all sizes.Our team is passionate about making a meaningful impact through business education, and we're looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm. Instructional Designer Responsibilities:
- Perform needs analysis, develop content strategies and drive execution of training design plans that align with organizational goals and help learners achieve their business objectives
- Engage and build relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (Product Marketing, Creative, Program Design, Legal, Platforms, etc.) to successfully launch scaled educational products
- Design and develop engaging, informative, and visually compelling webinars, eLearning and video-based learning experiences
- Manage a content portfolio, ensuring all training materials are accurate and aligned with larger training goals and initiatives
- Evaluate content effectiveness and develop optimization strategies based on quantitative data and qualitative feedback
- Stay current with technological and educational trends to help our team remain innovative and effective in our training methodologies
- Provide design feedback and guidance on multiple training projects, including copywriting, content hierarchy, typography, layout, and color
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, Digital Marketing, Instructional Design or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in educational content development
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Slides, and other software used for creating training experiences
- Proficiency in leveraging authoring tools (Articulate, Evolve, Captivate) to create engaging eLearning content
- Proven track record of working effectively across different teams with various stakeholders and subject matter experts
- Experience managing the full content development lifecycle from needs analysis to training evaluation
- Experience working in a fast-paced content development team environment
- Experience with digital marketing, advertising teams or agencies
- Experience with Meta's advertising tools and products
- Experience developing technical training materials
- Experience facilitating training in both classroom and virtual environments

$90,000/year to $138,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
