Meta is seeking an experienced sales and marketing leader with demonstrated success managing established and emerging business categories. The Industry Manager will lead the Meta monetization strategy for select segments of traditional and digitally native Consumer Packaged Goods and within the US. This leader will be a creative thinker while working cross-functionally to develop scalable solutions for their clients and their teams. They will manage a consultative sales team, selling Meta's platform solutions to larger advertisers. We are looking for a self-starter who has demonstrated success, dealing with ambiguity, who is a talented coach of successful teams. This candidate should demonstrate a track record of problem-solving leadership with limited oversight. Ideal candidates will have management experience as well as extensive experience with performance marketing as well as brand.

Industry Manager, CPG Responsibilities:
  • Own and be accountable for quarterly and yearly revenue goals, pipeline management and growth goals across a diversified book of business
  • Build, train and maintain a high performing team
  • Act as player/coach by driving long term opportunity and coaching team through short and long- term challenges
  • Work cross-functionally with In-Market teams, Global Regions, Business Operations, Platform, Measurement/Metrics, and Product Marketing to optimize our client efforts
  • Consult with Product Marketing to help shape product development in support of client needs
  • Guide the creation of persuasive presentations and stories that demonstrate the value of Meta to clients for both B2C and B2B marketing
  • Identify winning strategies and scale the insights throughout the vertical
  • Increase the effectiveness of the team by recognizing opportunities for new approaches
  • Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales and services for Meta, including a good understanding of working with advertisers and agencies
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry
  • 10+ years of experience with digital media
  • 12+ years of experience with sales or marketing
  • 4+ years of experience as a manager
  • Experience building Direct Response and Brand advertising campaigns
  • Demonstrated experience using data to craft strategy
  • Experience driving revenue growth with emerging opportunities and established partnerships
  • Knowledge of the advertising technology and data/performance measurement trends
  • Communication and presentation experience with an emphasis on translating insights, product information, and data into client value
  • Experience building relationships with top marketing decision makers at brands and agencies
  • Facebook and Instagram user with knowledge of the media landscape
  • Possess an understanding of the CPG landscape and be considered a thought leader to leaders across all of your accounts

$177,000/year to $247,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
