Meta is seeking a Global Operations Manager to join our Travel, Expense, and Corporate Card (TEC) team. This role is pivotal for someone who thrives in a productive environment, is committed to driving significant impact within a high-energy finance organization, and makes decisions using data. This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Travel, Expense, and Corporate Cards. The Global TEC Operations Manager will lead the development and implementation of Travel and Expense strategies, ensuring alignment with Meta's broader financial and operational goals. This role involves collaborating with our third party vendors and cross functional partners, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role will be instrumental in enhancing and automating travel & expense processes, optimizing cost control measures, documenting and streamlining processes and using data insights to improve performance across the organization

Global Travel & Expense Operations Manager Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for Meta's Global Travel and Expense programs, improving policies and processes to support scalable and sustainable growth
  • Utilize advanced data analytics to proactively monitor and report on key performance metrics, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement predictive measures to prevent fraud and enhance financial security
  • Lead the development and implementation of automated solutions to reduce overhead and increase operational speed
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining Meta's reputation for integrity and financial prudence
  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for new initiatives
  • Implement and maintain effective cost control measures to optimize financial performance, ensuring operations are efficient, balanced, and compliant
  • Foster robust engagement with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, ensuring effective communication and strategic alignment across all initiatives and right sizing Travel and Expense offerings based on the employee population
  • Engage in continuous learning and development to stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies that could impact financial operations
  • Undertake other process and program improvements as assigned within the Travel, Expense, and Corporate Card program team
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in Finance, Travel, Expense, Corporate Cards, or a related field
  • Experience in similar tech environments, adept at navigating complex organizational structures and collaborating with external and internal partners
  • Experience with data tools and platforms such as Concur, Oracle, and Excel, with experience analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports, statements, and projections
  • Experience leading projects where establishing clear priorities and managing multiple demands and resources effectively was needed
  • Experience improving processes through simplification, redesign, and automation
  • Experience working with cross-functional partners and leadership to effectively communicate and set project expectations. Previous experience working with data, metrics, and statistics to effectively influence decision making at a leadership level
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance aspects of financial management
  • Previous experience leading projects that required gathering and analyzing necessary data for completion of project goals
  • Experience in leading and influencing outsourced teams and managing supplier relationships effectively
  • Experience communicating with, and influencing at all levels of the organization
