AR Glasses are one of Meta Reality Labs' most ambitious programs, with equal parts product-market fit exploration and technical invention required, in pursuit of a new frontier of experiences that combine AI, AR and innovative form factors to deliver powerful assistance that blends digital and real, more immersive and engaging connections, and delight to customers. The PM in this role will be responsible for a key device in this product line and partner closely with software, hardware, industrial design, and experiences teams to define the end-to-end product outcomes and find solutions to achieve the AR Glasses value proposition.
Director, Product Management - Wearables Devices Responsibilities:
- Is the primary driver for identifying significant near and long-term opportunities in a large Product area, and driving product direction, strategies and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational strategies and goals.
- Generate buy-in and drives consensus across organizations. Bring clarity and structure to ambiguous opportunities. Consistently demonstrate initiative and execute with limited oversight.
- Integrate data, usability studies, research, and market analysis into product strategies and requirements to enhance user satisfaction and improve engineer productivity.
- Drive product development with teams of world-class engineers and designers, while maintaining team health.
- Understand Meta's strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are aligned with our mission and recognized best in the industry.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product strategy, define product requirements, coordinate resources from cross-functional groups (design, legal, etc.), develop roadmaps, and guide the team through key milestones.

- 10+ years of product management and/or Product Design experience
- 10+ years of experience working collaboratively with software and/or hardware engineering, design and user research teams
- Experience navigating through the full product life-cycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization, and pre- and post-launch execution
- Critical thinking/analytical leadership experience
- Experience presenting to and influencing executive stakeholders
- BA or BS in Computer Science or related field
- Experience in a consumer focused technology company
- Experience building 0-1 products, platform/ecosystem products, or marketplaces
- Experience developing vertically integrated device products

$249,000/year to $323,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
