As Design Program Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the success of AI and Health features by providing operational leadership, strategic guidance, and hands-on support to our product designers. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless collaboration, effective communication, and efficient project execution across multiple stakeholders.

Design Program Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize design operations that directly contribute to the execution of a team's product roadmap.
  • Make design work happen with speed and quality by seeking clarity on goals and priorities
  • Develop design program or operational product strategy independently
  • scopes and prioritizes resources and workload appropriately while identifying gaps and creating solutions and program plans
  • Identifies and delivers work in highly complex areas that have many dependencies, working with cross-functional stakeholders to get buy-in and feedback at the appropriate design stages.
  • Navigate complex product and design organization using your understanding of interconnectedness of problems, features or products within larger systems.
  • Provide operational support to product designers, including project planning, resource allocation, and risk management
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels to keep stakeholders informed of project progress, issues, and changes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product design, engineering, and product management, to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and quality
  • Develop workback schedules, sprint and resource plans to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Foster a work environment of innovation, creativity, and continuous learning within the design organization
  • Support hardware and software design prototyping efforts and testing
Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience working with SW or HW product teams
  • Experience working with engineering or technical teams directly
  • Experience executing on an established rhythm of business, running a team through a project plan, and managing pivots along the path to delivery.
  • Detail oriented and organized both individually and at team scale
  • Experience working with external vendors, including sourcing and negotiating
  • Experience in developing product quality standards and design operations
  • Experience using data to identify problems and communicate solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Track record of bridging the gap between engineering, product and design.
  • Resourcefulness and problem solving
  • Previous Hardware experience.
  • Previous mixed reality or wearables experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of AI tools.

$101,000/year to $152,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
