We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Business Lead to provide strategic support and insight to the Small and Medium Business Group (SMBG) at Meta. This critical role partners closely with the Vice President, Global Head of SMBG, to drive the organization's strategic and operational objectives. The Business Lead will manage key cross-functional projects, cultivate essential stakeholder relationships, and ensure alignment of operational priorities. Additionally, this role offers strategic counsel to leadership, orchestrates complex initiatives, and facilitates collaboration across teams to enable SMBG's continued success.As a successful Business Lead, you will combine strategic thinking with solid project management skills, be highly analytical, and possess solid communication abilities. You thrive as a collaborative team player in a fast-paced, high-expectations environment, adept at navigating varied stakeholder demands and stakeholders across the company.

Business Lead, Small and Medium Business Group (SMBG) Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the VP of SMBG to shape and drive the strategic direction of SMBG, assist in the development and execution of business strategies aligned with Meta's mission and goals, and act as a strategic thought partner and advisor to leadership on prioritization and stakeholder management
  • Meeting Preparation and Engagements: Lead the preparation for internal and external meetings and coordinate research and briefing materials for leadership engagements to ensure informed decision-making
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance collaboration and facilitate effective communication between different teams and levels to achieve seamless integration and mutual understanding
  • Project and Initiative Management: Lead and manage cross-functional initiatives and programs that support revenue growth and ensure timely and successful delivery of initiatives by tracking progress, setting deadlines, and mitigating risks
  • Crisis Management and Troubleshooting: Handle crisis management and troubleshoot key business issues as they arise to maintain operational stability and develop strategies to prevent potential disruptions and minimize impact
  • Communication Strategy and Messaging: Oversee communication strategies and draft internal and external messaging to ensure clarity and alignment and develop and implement communication plans to keep the organization informed and aligned with the strategic vision
  • Operational Support and Logistics: Assist in optimizing SMBG operations through process improvements and strategic initiatives, support global travel logistics and timelines to ensure efficient scheduling and resource management and manage leadership calendars and business rhythms in partnership with other teams to enhance operational efficiency
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of experience in a strategic, analytical, management consulting, operational role or related field, preferably in a technology or high-growth environment
  • Proven experience in project management and stakeholder collaboration
  • Solid analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing multiple tasks under timelines and shifting priorities
  • Experience with presentation building software (e.g. PowerPoint, Keynote), Project Management, use of AI and data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent)
  • Proven track record of working with C-suite level employees, both inside and outside of a company
  • Familiarity with global markets
  • Product management or product marketing experience
  • Experience with Meta's Sales and Monetization products and solutions
  • Project and change management experience

$145,000/year to $204,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
