Business Intelligence Analysts drive how the User Experience (UX) Research function is powered at Meta by empowering Research leaders to integrate business data into their daily decisions as well as longer-term investments. The Business Intelligence Analyst role in the Global Research Operations team will work alongside UX Researchers, Research Program Managers, and Research leaders to identify, track, and solve issues that advance the efficiency and efficacy of Meta's UX Research ecosystem. This role will perform analyses on a broad spectrum of topics related to optimizing Meta's UX Research process and UX Research organizational health. Some projects will focus on improving how we measure and monitor the performance of the infrastructure and programs we build to support the research organization. Others will involve investigating existing data to identify potential issues and to inform opportunities for solving them.

Business Intelligence Analyst, Global Research Operations Responsibilities:
- Connect global data and strategies to functional data in order to create team-specific analytics and reporting
- Support Global Research Operations teams in translating their goals for the business into reliable metrics, work with program leaders to identify the best KPIs for their respective teams. This may involve mapping existing data to program goals or advocating for the building of new data channels
- Act as an internal consultant by understanding business needs, scoping data requests, synthesize insights, and recommending solutions to managers in collaboration with relevant cross-functional teams
- Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and the presentation of data to go beyond the numbers and create actionable recommendations
- Manage multiple concurrent projects that require inputs from cross-functional stakeholders while balancing impact on business needs
- Deliver analytical results to technical and non-technical audiences and partner with them to identify the right actions
- Leverage tools, such as SQL, Tableau, and Excel to build and drive analytics and to enable client self-service on routine queries, as well as to design/run/deliver ongoing reporting and dashboards
- BA/BS with 7+ years (or MBA/MA/MS with 5+ years) of consulting, data analytics, or corporate work experience focused on using data to uncover insights that drive action and communicating analyses to technical and non-technical audiences
- Advanced experience building dashboards in Tableau and knowledge of data visualization best practices
- Advanced experience in SQL or other programming languages
- Project management experience with multiple stakeholders prioritizing and delegating projects/tasks
- Experience gathering and interpreting data
- Experience influencing stakeholders using data
- Knowledge of statistical analysis (e.g., descriptive statistics and statistical significance)
- Consultative, communication, analytical, data/dashboard building, and storytelling skills and background managing concurrent projects while working with a cross-functional team to drive outcomes
- Experience operating in ambiguity and combatting challenges
- Demonstrated experience building programs, figuring out the best way to achieve results, and working closely with a wide array of teams
- Experience building dashboards and reports in Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Analytics (f.k.a Einstein Analytics)
- Experience using R or Python or a similar scripting language for statistical modeling
- Experience working with business data to improve understanding of an organization or its operations
- Experience with User Experience (UX) Research
- Experience working autonomously in a fast-paced, demanding environment, under pressure

$124,000/year to $176,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
