Application Manager, Finance & Business Planning

Meta's Application Management (AM) Team is responsible for driving business enablement at scale through optimization and evolving the usage and investment of vendor platforms across the enterprise. Finance and Business planning (FBP) Application Management team is at the heart of reimagining how Finance plans, analyzes, forecasts, and measures how Meta deploys critical resources toward company priorities. As a valued member of this team, you'll be a critical liaison to the FBP team focused on all aspects of budgeting, forecasting, long range planning and financial reporting with Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) cloud and Hyperion (on-premise) suite of products. This team also enables & supports Accounting and Tax operations teams to leverage Oracle EPM products for critical period close activities, Tax calculations, Transfer Pricing and other statutory & regulatory compliance.

Application Manager, Finance & Business Planning Responsibilities:
  • Drive solution ownership from concept to launch and system reliability for a blend of Oracle EPM Cloud product initiatives.
  • Lead AM, PM and other stakeholders to craft long term application strategy and FBP products roadmap aligned with Finance objectives.
  • Independently build business partner relationships and influence stakeholder leadership for right decisions.
  • Build and foster strong partnerships with cross functional teams for roadmap prioritization, product delivery, alignment for cross business process initiatives.
  • Identify right investments and drive build Vs buy decisions to enable business goals.
  • Navigate through ambiguity and scope, influence solution options and outcomes.
  • Lead and manage FBP initiatives right from stakeholder alignment, communication, timeline, business requirements, solution architecture, build, testing, launch and change management.
  • Define & measure product & business goals. Track success metrics to drive value and uphold product reliability.
  • Drive product decisions leveraging data to understand, prioritize and solve problems.
  • Design and conduct user training and knowledge sharing sessions to improve system adoption and user experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • BS or BA degree in Finance, Business, Technology, or equivalent degree.
  • SME with domain knowledge of Financial planning (FP&A) processes.
  • 15+ years of experience in building systems for large FP&A organizations leveraging EPM, PBCS and Hyperion products. 5+ years of hands-on experience in building Oracle EPM solutions.
  • Experience building and scaling solutions for organizations in consumer hardware, data center, AdTech, Payments, Crypto Currency and/or similar emerging business models.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Prior Corporate Finance experience.
  • Oracle EPM product certifications (on-premise or Cloud).
  • Good understanding of ERP GL concepts (Fusion or EBS) and experience dealing with upstream systems.
  • Product management experience, collaborating with engineering and UI/UX teams to prototype, design and build products on internal / proprietary tech stack.
  • Exposure to Oracle, MySQL databases and modern query languages.
  • Exposure to leveraging ML/AI solutions for predictive planning and analysis.
