Job Description:
This job is responsible for supporting multiple security engineering efforts to deliver enterprise security capabilities. Key responsibilities include supporting the design, development, and implementation of systems contributing to the protection of systems, devices, and sensitive data. Job expectations include delivering milestones on engineering initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for collaboration, and solving complex issues within one or more security domains with moderate oversight.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops, and implements systems to contribute to the protection of system boundaries, harden computer systems and network devices against attacks, and secure sensitive data
  • Drives complex technical information security projects to ensure on-time delivery
  • Identifies and raises risks and potential vulnerabilities at all stages of the security engineering process
  • Leverages knowledge of information security technologies, techniques, and processes while continuing to grow knowledge within one or more security engineering domains
  • Identifies, defines, and documents system security requirements
  • Works closely with a diverse set of stakeholders with varying priorities to debate and negotiate paths forward
  • Thinks outside the box to develop multiple solutions to complex problems

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years supporting PingIdentity products in a large scale global financial services organization as an L3 support engineer
  • Experience integrating applications using industry standards such as SAML/OIDC/OAuth/FIDO2.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
  • Proven ability to execute projects independently and collaborate effectively with relevant stakeholders to achieve project/task completion..
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
