Position Summary:
- Supporting build efforts by working closely with full-time Bank of America employees who will be responsible for all design efforts.
- Participating in the development and implementation of complex databases, often using new technologies and database design work following standards and best practices set by Bank of America.
- Serving as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource for never down applications.
- Expertise in Golden Gate Required
- Participating in complex projects and handling work assigned at the direction of other team members
- Possessing accountability for technical knowledge and capabilities both as a team member and an individual contributor
- Working under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more bank associates, team leads, or managers
- Working on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge and evaluation of various factors
- Exercising judgment within specifically defined practices, policies, guidelines in obtaining results
- Exercising leadership by assigning work and resolving problems
- Assisting and working with lower-level analysts
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Experience as an Oracle Database Administrator
- Oracle 19c and Oracle AI required and Exadata
- Experience installing Exadata
- Oracle GoldenGate
- Experience on high-availability, never down Oracle systems
- Experience with database design, SQL Tuning, security management, backup and recovery using RMAN, database installs/upgrades, and shell scripting in a UNIX environment
- Experience with Data Modeling
