Job Description:
This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of large program deliverables which requires engagement across multiple organizations. Key responsibilities include communicating target outcomes, coordinating delivery, resource planning, providing visibility of program health, and managing program risks, compliance and financials. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of the target outcomes, timeline, and cost and facilitating sync points between business and technology leaders and Risk and Compliance partners.

Position Summary:
Service Delivery & Governance
- Own service delivery outcomes for AWS-hosted platforms, ensuring SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs are consistently met.
- Act as the escalation and communication bridge between business stakeholders, engineering, and vendor partners.
- Conduct regular service reviews, providing insight into performance, risks, and improvements.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL-aligned service management practices (incident, change, problem, release governance).
- Define and track service delivery KPIs to measure business value.
Release & Deployment Management
- Oversee release management lifecycle for AWS platform, from planning to deployment.
- Define and enforce release policies, ensuring compliance with change governance and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with DevOps, QA, and engineering teams to align release schedules with business priorities.
- Facilitate go/no-go decisions, balancing speed-to-market with service stability and risk mitigation.
- Promote automation and best practices in CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, GitHub Actions, Terraform).
- Track and improve release metrics: success rate, rollback frequency, deployment frequency, and lead time for changes.
Stakeholder & Customer Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders and service owners.
- Communicate service performance, risks, and release plans to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure customer needs are translated into AWS service delivery and release requirements.
- Drive stakeholder alignment on priorities, outcomes, and trade-offs.
Continuous Improvement & Strategic Alignment
- Drive Service Improvement Plans (SIPs) to enhance AWS service delivery efficiency, cost effectiveness, and resilience.
- Promote alignment with the AWS Well-Architected Framework (Reliability, Security, Cost Optimization, Performance, Sustainability).
- Partner with product and engineering teams to introduce new AWS services that support innovation.
- Identify opportunities to streamline governance and accelerate business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery of large programs, such as kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates
- Broadens relationships with business and technology leaders across multiple organizations, as well as Compliance and Risk
- Establishes target outcomes in partnership with stakeholders and leaders
- Tracks success metrics and provides status updates to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to the target outcomes, delivery, performance, risks, issues, and schedule
- Collaborates with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements
- Manages program financials and supports resource planning
- Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience in IT service delivery, with 3+ years focused on AWS environments.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Proven experience in release management and change governance.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL service management principles.
Desired Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer.
- ITIL v4 certification.
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare).
- Knowledge of cloud governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Understanding of FinOps practices for cloud cost governance.
