Position Summary
This job is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions. Key responsibilities of the job are to provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs, align technical solutions to business objectives, and ensure that coding practices/quality comply with software development standards. Job expectations include conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in knowledge of several technical competencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops and is accountable for feature delivery
  • Applies enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality
  • Ensures solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt
  • Guides the team on work breakdown and execution
  • Works with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria
  • Plays a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentors the team
  • Guides team members with skills and practices (planning and estimation, peer reviews, and other engineering practices)
  • Responsible for tracking application risk and compliance deliverables in RISE (Risk Integration & Support Environment) and CM (Continuous Monitoring) deliverables.
  • Co-ordinate with Application Dev team, TI (Technology Infrastructure) team and risk partners for remediation of risk deliverables.
  • Facilitate solution discussions for complex issues.
  • Prioritize deliverables based on risk severity and impact.
  • Prepare exceptions as needed with justification, risk, mitigating and compensating controls.
  • Prepare and distribute risk portfolio status report and metrics.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with team members.
  • Document and track work in JIRA.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of job related experience required .
  • Experience with risk and compliance deliverables at a large banking/corporate environment.
  • Experience with critical API based applications, Information Security concepts and risk processes.
  • Must be self-starting, take ownership to follow-up and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Effectively communicates cross-functionally and at several management levels.
  • Able to extract data from various data sources, consolidate and summarize with insights.
  • Works well under pressure. Manage multiple priorities, be proactive, and deliver quality results under aggressive deadlines.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of bank corporate tools including RISE, CM, NPT Central and Remedy. Familiarity with ARM, RODB, Jira and Horizon tools.
  • Ability to import data into a spreadsheet and be able to produce summarized data, pivot or visual aids along with insights.
  • Experience with midrange technology and oracle databases is a plus.

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$106,500.00 - $173,600.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
