Job Description:
This job is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions. Key responsibilities of the job are to provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs, align technical solutions to business objectives, and ensure that coding practices/quality comply with software development standards. Job expectations include conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in knowledge of several technical competencies.
Work closely with our line of business and architects to provide implementation solutions to protect various software applications in the leading Bank. Be able to create a prototype to prove the design. Preparing UML diagrams to describe the current state of the application in terms of these parameters and describes the future state. Internet Software Engineers are involved in every release, every project, and in all the phases of SDLC like Analysis, Technical Design, Development, Testing and Deployment. At every step the Lead Engineer reviews project artifacts to ensure that the application suites interests are adequately addressed.
Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops and is accountable for feature delivery
- Applies enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality
- Ensures solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt
- Guides the team on work breakdown and execution
- Works with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria
- Plays a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentors the team
- Guides team members with skills and practices (planning and estimation, peer reviews, and other engineering practices)
Required Qualifications:
- Over 10+ years of hands-on working experience to develop the mission critical, large scale, high volume enterprise & distributed applications by using Java/J2EE.
- Strong understanding of OO design and having strong programming skills with Java Knowledge of using one or multiple J2EE application servers.
- Strong experience on Java development of RESTful Services using the Spring Framework, Spring Boot and SOAP Webservices.
- Strong experience with microservices, deployment, dockers and containers.
- Experience with Apache Kafka for online data publishing and consuming.
- Experience on Junit Test cases development, Performance Testing, Optimization and Code analysis.
- Experience of using Relational Oracle SQL/PLSQL and No SQL distributed Cassandra DB Technologies.
- Strong experience on using Development tools like Eclipse/IntelliJ IDE's, Maven, GIT, Bit Bucket, CI/CD pipelines, Splunk and SOAP UI.
- Experience in building of high volume, scalable, available & distributed Technologies.
- Experience on standard development design patterns of Creational, Behavioral & JEE.
- Experience on handling of cross functional issues by coordinating with distributed development teams across the regions.
- Experience with development models such as Agile and SDLC Knowledge of test-driven development.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment to meet the release deliverables.

Pay and benefits information
Pay range
$106,500.00 - $173,600.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
