Job description:
Enterprise Cloud Platforms team in the CTI organization offers Private and Public Cloud platforms for Bank of America's developers to drive faster time-to-market, innovation with private and public cloud capabilities, and reduce complexity with bult-in integrations. We believe in high quality engineering culture to engineer our platforms with customer and platform mindset, design for large enterprise scale and resilience, and accelerate market innovation into the technical platforms we deliver.
As part of this team, you will have a large impact on the evolution of next generation Cloud services for Bank of America and explore an extensive list of new technologies that will drive innovation across our company.
This Analyst Tech Delivery role is responsible for capturing and refining business and/or system requirements. Key responsibilities include working with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze problems, and capture their requirements, and then working closely with the Development Team(s) to refine the requirements into specifications that can be executed by the team. Roles which are clearly defined with more structured support (playbooks, co-located mentors) are ideal.
- Understands stakeholder needs to help envision and create a solution to solve a problem.
- Analyzes the stakeholder process to build efficiencies and analyze the software to improve or implement that process.
- Gathers and catalogs functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests.
- Assists users and development team with application testing and troubleshooting.
- Identifies, documents, and troubleshoots application related problems.
- Documents processes, procedures and workflows associated with applications.
- Creates and maintains training materials for end-users.
Required Qualifications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Documentation skills using a variety of applications such as MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Microsoft Project, and MS Visio
• Flexibility at managing and navigating change
• High accountability and self-leadership
• Experience in systems and application development environments and processes
• Knowledge and familiarity with project and program management
Desired Qualifications
• Strong and clear communication skills, both speaking and written
• Strong scheduling and follow-through on commitments, deliverables, and dates
• Understanding and tracking of work and tasks against dependencies and critical path
• Critical thinking and creative problem-solving with stakeholder goals in mind
• Risk-management and risk-oriented mindset
• Strong understanding of cloud computing and DevOps practices and principles
