Enterprise IT (EIT) is an essential component of the current IT division that provides support to the Pharmaceutical Research (MRL), Supply Chain (MMD), Marketing (HH) organizations as well as Enabling Functions. The EIT SAP Platform Team is responsible for our company's SAP Global Template asset, delivering enterprise-level capabilities through harmonized business processes and data. The team is responsible for the operation of all of our company's SAP and integrated solutions, governance of the associated enterprise assets, and cost-effective delivery of capabilities to support achievement of immediate and future state business objectives.

Within the EIT SAP Platform Team, the EIT SAP Developer will be responsible for the design, develop, implementation, and support of the SAP development landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of the Functional requirement from any of the SAP modules and provide SAP technical solution and developing those objects.
  • Work with the users, technical and solution architects to define the data requirements and structure for the solution.
  • Understanding the Functional aspect of requirement
  • Developing technical solution with ABAP/OData/BTP/Fiori etc.
  • Doing the Unit testing for all the objects developed
  • participate in the Integration testing,
  • Resolve the issue and coordinate to resolve the issue with offshore team.
  • Create & maintain all deliverable Documents.

Required Education Level:

  • Bachelor's Degree required. Prefer major in Computer Science or Information Technology.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • SAP ABAP, OOABAP, CDS, OData technical expertise.
  • In-depth understanding/hand on experience in All RICEF Objects which includes CDS view, AMDP, OData in S4/ HANA
  • Exposure on business requirement gathering, strategies and application architecture design.
  • Worked on both development and support projects.
  • Good Experience in SAP Upgrade, SAP Business Suite HANA.
  • Expertise in Smart forms/Adobe forms, complex reports, workflow, web-service, RFC, IDOC's, OData, BADI, BAPI, & Enhancement Framework. ABAP/Object oriented ABAP Lang//BRF/WebDynpro.
  • Developing the Objects like Interface/File handlings using standard technology such as IDOC, Proxy, OData, API, Webservice.
  • Knowledge on CDS views and consuming in Fiori app.
  • Should have worked on Eclipse (HANA Studio).
  • Exposure to SAP functional and technical capabilities in one or more of the following functional areas: MDG, APO, GBT, ATTP, OTC, Source to Supply, WM, PE, MM, APO, EH&S, QM) Proficiency in architecting and developing.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Able manage a workload of multiple assignments with tight deadlines.
  • Should have some experience in managing offshore team(s).
  • Should be able to work Independently.
  • Should have client facing experience.
  • Should have good communication.
  • Familiarity with following SDLC / Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Familiar with ABAP on HANA 2.0, to develop extension on top of S4 HANA core system.
  • Experience with BTP-IS is nice to have.
  • SAPUI5 development with FIORI standards.
  • Experience working with the languages (e.g., SAPUI5, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, jQuery)
  • SAP Certification in any of the related technology such as ABAP/Fiori/HANA/Design thinking/SAP activate/SAP Cloud, BTP-IS etc is good to have.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. Expected salary range:
$111,400.00 - $175,300.00
