The Accounting System Control Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate set-up and maintenance of operational and financial system master files on multiple databases to ensure adequate control, data integrity and unconstrained productivity of other system users.

What you'll do as an Accounting Systems Control Specialist:

  • Set up new customer accounts in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and create ERP system profile(s).
  • Update existing customer accounts.
  • Set up food suppliers and freight carrier accounts.
  • Maintain or create custom General Ledger guides and summary workbooks for customers.
  • Set up new system users.
  • Set up expense vendors using W-9s.
  • This position has additional duties. Special projects may be assigned at the position supervisor's discretion.

Qualifications you'll bring as an Accounting Systems Control Specialist:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Have at least 1 year of enterprise resource planning (ERP) experience.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word) with at least 1 year of specific Excel experience.
  • This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
