Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:
This Inventory position is part of a 5-person department who will help maintain appropriate inventory levels and ensures that all products are in stock and available for distribution in the warehouse. This person must be organized, self-motivated, good with numbers, Excel, problem solving, communication and research. They must have the willingness to learn and change with the business needs.

Job requires working for long periods of time in temperature-controlled areas such as freezer and cooler. Gear will be provided

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Decipher Julian dates & manufacturer codes to get accurate Use By Dates.
• Tape up torn or open cases for full or partial sale.

• Track partial case list for damage to be sold at discount.
• Return cases during aisle inspections.
• Follow up with cost recaptures.
• Track & keep accurate records of all hold product.
• Cycle count all areas & reconcile discrepancies.
• Work with peers to help cover scheduled time off.

• Other duties may be assigned.

MINIMUM SKILLS/QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 or more years work experience in inventory control
• Knowledge of warehouse and inventory control procedures.
Proficiency with Excel, Word, Access and inventory control systems.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Warehouse temperature-controlled areas such as freezer and cooler. Gear will be provided

• Office Environment

schedule will be Mon thru Fri 7am to 3:30pm

training schedule will be 3am to 11:30am for approximately 2 weeks
