This position will require the candidate to report and work from the office five days a week. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from St.Louis.

The Field Support Supervisor oversees the daily work assignments, performance reviews, training, and professional development of teammates on the field support team. They ensure continuous operation of the company's distributed information systems and processes, including automated warehouse management systems, delivery routing systems, client workstations, and peripherals at all company locations.

Essential Job Functions/Principal Accountabilities:

  • Oversee, direct, and provide hardware and software support to end users by evaluating the customer's needs and requirements.
  • Ensure excellent customer service levels through a variety of methods, including phone support to the end users on computer, hardware, software, printer or data network issues.
  • Facilitate projects by leading, testing, documenting, and implementing major projects for a specific set of teammates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to data networks (LAN and WAN), Windows operating system, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Provide the installation and/or upgrades of new hardware and software to the client environment, including computers, laptops, servers, data network equipment, and printers.
  • This position has additional duties. Special projects may be assigned at the position supervisor's discretion.

Minimum Skills & Qualifications:

  • Have a bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field.
  • Have at least 4 years of broad-based experience in specific and related disciplines of the business.
  • Have a broad technical background with demonstrated proficiency supporting LAN/WAN equipment and applications.
  • Supervisory training and or experience is required.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and others).
