As a Senior IAM Onboarding Engineer, you will be pivotal in facilitating the seamless integration of applications and systems into our Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. You will be the primary liaison between application teams and IAM Engineers, ensuring that requirements are clearly communicated, and onboarding processes are efficiently executed. Your expertise will be essential in minimizing direct queries to IAM Engineers, allowing them to focus on technical deployment and implementation.
Role/Responsibilities:
Collaborate with application teams to gather and clarify onboarding requirements for IAM solutions.
Guide application teams in accurately completing onboarding questionnaires and documentation.
Serve as the point of contact for application teams, addressing their questions and concerns related to IAM onboarding processes.
Ensure all necessary information is provided to IAM Engineers for a smooth application and system onboarding.
Monitor and track onboarding progress, identifying and resolving any potential issues before they escalate.
Develop and maintain onboarding guidelines and best practices to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Provide training and support to application teams, ensuring they understand IAM requirements and procedures.
Foster strong relationships with both application teams and IAM Engineers to promote collaboration and communication.
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure onboarding efficiency, identify bottlenecks, and report progress to various stakeholders.
Validate that onboarding processes adhere to internal security policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.

Collaborate with IAM Engineers to identify repetitive onboarding tasks and contribute to the development of automation solutions.
Regularly review onboarding workflows and incorporate feedback to enhance efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.
Critical Experience/Skills:
5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) with experience in onboarding processes.
Proficiency in two or more of the IAM solutions, such as Directory Services (Active Directory, Entra ID), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Authentication Services (Multifactor Authentication and Single Sign On), or Digital Certificate Management (or Public Key Infrastructure).
Strong understanding of IAM tools (OKta, CyberArk, SailPoint, DigiCerts, Active Directory, Entra), technologies, and best practices.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. This includes effectively liaising between technical and non-technical teams.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in creating documentation and process flows for technical onboarding procedures.
Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities.
Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, SOC, SOX, HIPAA, GDPR) relevant to IAM practices.
Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall) and project tracking tools (JIRA, Smartsheet).
Good understanding of ITIL methodology and ITSM tools (ServiceNow).
Preferred Experience/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree (in computer science, information technology, or related field) or equivalent experience.
