As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing the value of the MyMaccas app by delivering consistent improvement while maintaining quality & stability.

Collaborating with stakeholders and the Digital Product Lead this role will gather and prioritise feature requests, schedule releases, and coordinate sprints of work. Work with cross-functional teams to manage product releases.

  • Identify customer needs, and support stakeholders to understand the business value
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to align and deliver on the product vision.
  • Take lead of the scrum team, defining, roadmap, and growth opportunities, communicating with stakeholders to deliver continuous improvement
  • Work with internal and external contacts to analyze needs and deliver to strategic goals & timelines.
  • Keep up with agile/scrum best practices and trends, and lead by example.
  • Ensure Product Backlog is prioritised, transparent, visible and understood

Key Relationships:

  • Stakeholders to solicit feature requests, inform prioritisation, and build rapport via transparency. | CFT's, Leadership
  • Customers, Delivering valuable, stable product enhancements | McD customers, customer support teams, restaurants & crew.
  • Scrum Team, Feature requirements, backlog prioritization | Developers & Testers
  • Product & Support Teams, Issue escalation, feature review, roadmap | Core product teams. Product Support Lead, Customer Service.

Requirements:

  • Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the McDonald's product tech stack.
  • Previous experience working with Agile is desirable but not essential.
  • Work experience in McDonald's Restaurants is desirable.
  • New Relic experience is desirable but not essential.

Personal qualities & behavioural traits:

  • Able to lead a dynamic, results-driven team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Strong communication and networking, ability to communicate complex information to a range of audiences.
  • Acceptance of occasional out-of-hours work, where required, to facilitate conversation and escalations of priority items across time zones.
