Job Description

Could you be our next National RTO Consultant?

The National RTO Consultant provides support to the National RTO Manager by managing the National RTO Team to ensure compliance in all procedures and processes with the VET Quality Framework and Government requirements, whilst simultaneously supporting our restaurants by ensuring ongoing structured training and development. What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?

  • Supporting the National RTO Leads in overseeing the National RTO Team
  • Analysing AVETMISS data for accuracy
  • Meeting deadlines for AVETMISS reporting to state governments and NCVER
  • Providing ongoing training to RTO team members
  • Reporting monthly RTO Process Updates to the National and Regional Delivery Teams
  • Reporting monthly National RTO performance data to the National and Regional Delivery Teams
  • Managing all State and National Policy/Resource updates
  • Managing McDonald's Website Information to ensure accuracy
  • Reviewing Marketing materials against state contract requirements
  • Facilitating National RTO Manager Meetings and National RTO Team Meetings
  • Conducting regular Performance Conversations, Career Conversations and Yearly Reviews with the National RTO Team and provide ongoing feedback to support the continuing development of skills and competencies
  • Digital Platform management, maintenance and enhancements
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of compliance requirements with both the VET Quality Framework and state government funding contracts
  • Developing, updating and communicating processes and changes to ensure compliance within the RTO
  • Preparation and participation in Internal and Desktop Audits
  • Attending Field Visits to support National RTO Manager
  • Managing updates to resources as required including but not limited to training plans, enrolment documentation, processing manuals and guides.
  • Reviewing Exception Register for accuracy and distribute to state teams each month
  • Reporting progress against monthly benchmarks to National team
  • Liaising and providing support to various internal departments including National Learning & Development Regional RTO Teams, Finance and Legal
  • Maintaining reporting spreadsheets for State Managers and communicate results and data in a timely manner
  • Adhering to National (Standards for RTO's) & State compliance/government guidelines
  • Staying up to date with the most current and effective employee development approaches
  • Remaining current on operational standards, procedures, and resources to enhance the ability to provide leadership and maximise business results

Additional Information

Your keys to success:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or attend mandatory class
  • A current driver's license and access to a vehicle is essential
  • Hold a current working with children check or be willing to complete the process upon request
  • Complete an Appropriate Personnel Declaration
  • Complete a National Criminal Check
  • Complete a Fit and Proper Persons Check
  • Demonstrated intermediate skills in excel and word
  • Demonstrated experience with VETtrak will be advantageous but not essential
  • Demonstrated experience in an RTO environment
