Job Description
Demand Planning at Mattel is responsible for building and managing the Demand estimate in consensus with commercial, sales, marketing and Replenishment areas, ensuring to capture and protect the strategies and needs of the business, guaranteeing the right product at the right time. The main challenges of the area are: 1. Ensuring that the demand forecast reflects the needs and strategies of the brands and markets through timely alignment and cross-functional communication; 2. Building a more agile and adaptable way of working to demand changes in the company's S&OP process; 3. Derived from these challenges, it is relevant that the team members have resilience and adaptation to constant change, as well as facility to prioritize and cross-functional communication, collaborative and proactive attitude.

What Your Impact Will Be
- Responsible for the demand construction and management process for the Andean markets (Chile, Colombia and Peru); this involves: a) generation of volume estimates by product aligned to strategies and commercial needs, b) demand estimation curves, c) transmission of demand to plants using the Anaplan system as a tool, d) ensuring compliance with demand KPI's (Forecast Variance, Forecast Bias and Value Add), analysis, presentation and follow-up of the same.
- Provide support to the team leader in cross-functional Demand Review and/or Consensus Meetings, to present the demand proposal and align necessary adjustments with involved teams, presenting critical issues and priorities, identifying and raising risks in a timely manner,
- Take part in key projects for the region, such as Modulars management, to build the appropriate demand forecast and raise risks and/or opportunities in terms of volume and product displacement,
- Propose automation and standardization of processes and activities within the Demand Planning routine,

Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- 3 - 4 years of experience
- Advanced English
- Advanced Excel
- Experience in Demand Planning Forecasting or Supply Chain Management
- Advanced Excel skills (handling large amounts of data, pivot tables, formulas, data modeling)
- Handling of commercial terms such as Sell In / Sell Out / Relationship and interaction with commercial teams
