Job Description
The Business Analytics team continues to evolve. After laying solid foundations of Data Analytics that allow easy and agile access to information within the organization, we now seek to go further by increasing our influence in decision making; this through analysis and recommendations based on data that allow us to improve our performance (market share, profitability, etc). Our main challenge is to put the consumer at the center, with limited budgets and time.

- Is in charge of the development of reports, solutions and tools for the needs within the Finance team.
- Use advanced techniques to integrate data from different sources and/or systems, facilitating and improving our current reporting with the objective of reducing manual and low value-added work hours.
- Create, modify and maintain the necessary databases for Business Analytics reports, ensuring data quality, accuracy and integrity as well as compliance with timelines.
- Periodically publish reports to the entire organization, complementing them with analysis, highlights, trends, metrics and recommendations.
- Contribute to Mattel's growth and performance optimization, supporting commercial execution and business decision making.
Qualifications
- Advanced Excel, with experience in reporting in access and with data models.
- English proficient
- High analytical level with experience applying quantitative solutions
- 2+ years of experience executing programming in SQL and/or similar programming languages (Google Big Query preferred) and experience in Data prep (Google Big Query preferred)
- Experience in data visualization tools (Tableau)
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of data, recognize patterns/trends and generate meaningful insights
Desirable
- 1) Experience modeling data in R or Python (econometric models based on time series).
- 2) Knowledge and handling of market data such as Nielsen, NPD or IQVIA
- 3) Experience in CPG or fashion industries is a plus.
