The Team:

The EMEA Logistics team manages all Warehousing & Logistical supply chain operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems and ensuring compliance with both local and internal regulation. This is a dynamic and fast-moving team, responsible for facilitating the end-to-end supply of goods & services that allows us to service all our customers, both internal & external, for the EMEA region.

Job Description

The Opportunity: 

The EMEA Logistics team is seeking a dynamic, proactive and highly analytical Senior E-Commerce Logistics Analyst to lead and strengthen our E-Commerce operations across the EMEA region. The role covers end-to-end supply chain & logistical solutions for our Direct-to-Consumer business, from the point an order is placed by a customer on the web shop through to delivery.

You will be expected to build and sustain strong relationships across external partners, commercial partners, and internal teams, while influencing outcomes and holding stakeholders accountable. You will also take ownership of gathering and interpreting complex data from multiple sources, mainly in Excel, and applying it to enhance operations.

The person in this role will have an initiative-taking mindset, skilled in multi-tasking and setting priorities, and highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident in driving compliance and improvements. With strong knowledge of logistics best practices, you will also be recognized as a problem solver who plays a key role in implementing change and guiding business improvements.

What Your Impact Will Be: 

  • Oversee and conduct the day-to-day operational activities for Direct-to-Consumer warehouse operations in conjunction with the 3PL provider.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial and internal teams to run the day-to-day operations as well as guide and support initiatives and projects.
  • Manage the replenishment process between Mattel DCs and warehouse locations on timely, accurate and efficient manner.
  • Assess the process delays and own the resolution from the order intake all the way through to delivery to consumer, ensuring timely corrective actions any delays or issues.
  • Ensure data alignment and compliance across internal and external systems by proactively validating data parameters.
  • Manage stock by carrying out analysis and providing leadership on discrepancy analysis and executing the required resolution.
  • Monitor stock requirements and provide recommendations on non-moving and overstocked products.
  • Ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment required for Special & Rework operations.
  • Monitor 3PL and carrier performance, set expectations, and escalate issues where needed.
  • Deliver operational reporting and provide strategic insights against forecast and established SLAs.
  • Lead reporting of throughput volumes, productivity, and inventory balances through daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
  • Lead monthly performance reviews with 3PL partners, analyzing performance, claims, allocating responsibilities, and establishing clear action plans.
  • Ensure 3PL compliance to SOX controls, such as cycle counts and inventory compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in replenishment, reporting, and analysis, ensuring processes remain efficient and scalable.
  • Identify and champion areas of improvement to drive efficiency, cost savings, and enhanced customer experience.
  • Ensure all logistical solutions comply with current and upcoming legal requirements.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.
  • Preferably will have at least 5 years experience working in Supply Chain and ideally at least 3 years in an e-commerce Logistics role working with 3PL providers.
  • You must be knowledgeable of a warehouse/Fulfilment Centre environment, and have experience of working with operations teams, also on Continuous Improvements.
  • Experience of forecasting stock, inbound and outbound volumes. Demand planning is considered a plus.
  • Must be an experienced Microsoft Excel user operating at advanced level, with experience of analysing large data sets and be able to present results clearly and be able to give recommendations on the back of the analysis.
  • An understanding of warehouse management systems.
  • Knowledge of working with parcel carrier companies to monitor and improve performance.
  • Experience of monitoring KPIs and taking action to remedy any concerns with performance.
  • Fluent using Microsoft Office.
  • Experience of working in a head office Logistics role is preferred.
  • Be comfortable travelling to warehouses/fulfilment centres, both in the UK and across the EMEA region, as required
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in a hybrid, international environment with variety of stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation skills
