The Team:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Marketing expert to join the regional Amazon Digital team, on a temporary assignment. Reporting to the Amazon media manager, you'll join a high performing team of 3 and focus on planning and executing the Amazon DSP and search strategy across EU5 markets. You will work closely with the Amazon category team to reflect the brand priority into media strategy, as well as the local digital team, our partner agencies and of course - Amazon!

The Opportunity: 

You’ll be responsible for bringing digital expertise to the team in order to ensure effective, creative and efficient implementation of Mattel’s brand strategies and plans, with a focus specifically on Amazon Digital Marketing. We’re looking for an individual with a strong passion for cross-collaboration, who can effortlessly partner with Brand Managers, Sales teams and external agencies.

What Your Impact Will Be: 

  • Support planning and executing media (DSP and search) strategy across EU for our brands.
  • Manage implementation and brief of local and regional DSP campaigns across the funnel for all brands working closely with local teams, Amazon Category Managers, Key account managers, creative agency, Amazon team and viewability supplier.
  • Coordinate with local digital teams to align on regional strategy while integrating their local needs into the plans.
  • Guide and use digital media best practice standard implementation (tagging, ad serving, naming conventions).
  • Support on improvement of media quality KPIs (viewability, brand safety, invalid traffic).
  • Brief and implement search campaigns via external agency:
    • defining strategy for keywords and optimizing performance to win share vs competitors.
    • Update campaigns based on product availability and business needs
    • Focus implementation to drive sales incrementality
    • Support executing strategy to increase visibility on competitor searches/pages
    • Lead optimization of Amazon media placements to increase campaign relevancy and performance KPIs
  • Use consumer insights & analytics capabilities to build recommendation (Amazon Marketing Cloud, eStore check, Vendor Central, Profitero, Tableau).
  • Optimize and analyze results based on KPIs and present plans to broader teams.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, in Marketing, digital marketing or related fields
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in Marketing, ideally in Digital
  • Prior experience of Amazon highly advantageous 
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Project)
  • Analytical skills
  • Learning agility & creativity skills
  • Organizational skills & attention to detail
  • Curiosity and eager to challenge the status quo
  • Team player
  • Multicultural mindset and able to work cross culturally 
  • A passion for all things Digital
  • Fluency in English
