The Team:
The Global Supply Chain MDM team is a high-impact team supporting both Supply Chain and cross-functional teams. This team plays a critical role in the journey to transform overall processes and improve operational excellence through data management, data quality and data compliance to industry standards where applicable. The team prioritizes data that matters, linking data efforts to larger business goals and objectives. In this team, you can expect to have a dynamic, fast-paced role where you will have true accountability and collaboration with a variety of global stakeholders.

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Coordinator based in the Kuala Lumpur office to join the Global Supply Chain MDM team. This role will report into our Sr Manager of Master Data Management.
You will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of item master content which supports the supply chain as well as the broader organization. In addition to data population, the position will be responsible for ensuring adherence to the quality, compliance, and consistency of master data across business systems with a focus on continuous improvement. This role participates in business and/or IT projects as an advisor on master data use and considerations. Effective collaboration skills are required as the role will interact daily with stakeholders in multiple markets/countries.
What Your Impact Will Be:
- Preform bulk uploads and standard item set up activities
- Top off item master data
- Act as a first MDM point of contact for other departments (e.g. Planning, Sales, Customer Service, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing ) and identify opportunities for improving data management processes
- Perform ongoing reviews of the item and SKU data in line with global controls, safeguards and standards
- Troubleshoot issues related to master data management through resolution
- Serve as a business subject matter expert on item master data processes including impacts to up and down stream processes and systems.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong collaboration skills but also the ability to take initiative and work independently and without daily team contact
- Data entry and data management skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Customer focus and high sense of urgency in completing tasks
- Strong command of the English language, written and verbal, is required
- Bachelor’s degree in related field with 2+ years’ experience in a master data environment preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; understanding of Tablleau and AS400 iSeries a plus
- Some knowledge of Master Data operations, how master data are leveraged to create business outcomes and some experience in product data solutions is a plus
