The Media team drives strategic communications planning for Mattel brands, turning business goals into smart, innovative media plans. We collaborate closely with local and global brand teams, and our agency and vendor partners to bring campaigns to life—from planning through execution and reporting.

The Opportunity:
As the Marketing & Media Coordinator, you’ll support the development and execution of strategic media plans and work closely with the rest of the marketing organization. Working closely with the Media Manager, you’ll help manage campaign assets, budgets, reporting, and coordination with brand teams—playing a key role in bringing our marketing plans to life.
What Your Impact Will Be:
- Support campaign setup, tracking, optimization, and post-campaign analysis in collaboration with our media agency
- Manage media budgets, creative assets, approvals, and trafficking
- Adapt creative for local needs and campaigns
- Coordinate cross-brand efforts for key initiatives and partnerships
- Contribute to special marketing/media projects and insights
- Collaborate on integrated communication plans that engage our consumers
- Maintain the master promo and media calendar
- Work with global teams on performance reporting and action planning
- Create and share a customer-facing media calendar
- Support marketing organization with Purchase Orders and sample management
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.
- Degree in Marketing, Media, or related field
- 1–3 years of media experience (in-house or agency)
- Highly organized and skilled at managing multiple priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred:
- Familiarity with creative tools like Photoshop
- Experience working with influencers and PR agencies
