Job Description
What Your Impact Will Be
Professional responsible for ensuring the operational continuity of the Distribution Center through effective monitoring of daily activities, regulatory compliance, analysis of key indicators, application of continuous improvement methodologies, and cross-functional support to key areas. Must be able to generate positive synergies with the various operational managers to foster a culture of improvement and sustainable development.
- Daily Operational Monitoring: Monitor minor or recurring activities that may affect day-to-day operations, ensuring timely attention in coordination with the operational team.
- Meeting Management and Minutes: Lead weekly follow-up on operational meetings, document professional minutes with assigned responsibilities, commitment dates, and updated status of each action.
- Regulatory Compliance: Supervise and follow up on municipal, state, and federal permits and licenses necessary for the legal and safe operation of the distribution center.
- Lean Application and Waste Reduction: Identify operational waste and opportunities for improvement through Lean tools, generating structured proposals for their resolution.
- Indicator and Dashboard Management: Consolidate and present the main operational KPIs on a monthly basis; ensure that the dashboards for each area are updated and reflect the operational reality.
- Functional Support: Actively collaborate with the Distribution Supervisor and Inventory Leader in their daily activities, strengthening their training as potential operational support.
- Development of Synergies: Foster collaborative relationships with area leaders, promoting operational integration and creating a favorable environment for continuous professional development.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year (desirable) in logistics operations, distribution, continuous improvement, or regulatory compliance in highly demanding operational environments.
- Lean/Kaizen/5S/Six Sigma methodologies (certification desirable).
- KPI management and executive reporting.
- Basic knowledge of municipal, state, and federal regulations related to logistics operations.
- Intermediate-advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
- General knowledge of distribution operations, inventory, and supply chain management.
