In this position you will be part of the Sales team and you are responsible for supporting the daily key account for the National & Local Channel in the Benelux markets.
- Work closely together with the Sales Manager in preparation for key customer meetings and daily tasks.
- Manage local customers and address various customer requests via telephone, email or in-person visit
- Analyze customer requirements as well as potential business opportunities
- Analyze weekly and monthly data and deduce specific actions or strategy.
- Manage individual projects driving the National & Local Channel, such as; customer events, promotions, local customer training exhibitions, order and delivery of product samples for customers.
- Create offer sheets, prepare product data and digital assets and submit to customers in the customer specific formats.
What does it take to succeed?
- You know how to get things done with a large international matrix organization, based on your previous experience within a similar context, building collaborative teams and communicate with impact across the organization.
- Solid project management skills is required. Previous brand management experience is a definitive asset.
Qualifications
- University degree in business/economics or business related education with additional qualification in sales/marketing.
- At least 2 years experience within account management.
- Previous Distributor relationship experience is a definitive asset
- FMCG experience is a plus.
- Business fluent in English & French, Dutch is a plus
- Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Demonstrated knowledge and thorough understanding of sales, marketing, promotional principles and local retail landscape
- Strong level of analytical skills and strategic thinking
- Good project management skills and the ability to handle various projects in parallel
