The Team:
The US Commercial team drives revenue and profitability for Mattel by selling the most iconic toy brands in the industry to the top retailers in the US. The Growth Channels sales team works across various accounts and develops strategic account plans for all categories.

The Opportunity:
The Associate Manager plays an instrumental role in supporting the sales team with analysis, providing critical insights to drive strategy across all channels of business. This role will report to the Forecasting Manager and will be based in our Headquarters in El Segundo, CA.
What Your Impact Will Be:
- Manage pledge process, communication and reporting cadence.
- Create and publish daily/weekly reports for the team such as daily shipping and POS reporting, uncovering trends, patterns and providing actionable insights.
- Lead the POS reporting process across multiple accounts, working with channel leaders to drive business strategy.
- Track all blitz forecasts and orders throughout the year and validate final shipments. Work in partnership with sales and finance to improve the process and provide analysis.
- Intake all GC allocation and forecast changes in order to provide insight on how to allocate and ship orders across GC.
- Manage all Sales Incentive Plan goals for GC with the VP, Sales.
- Handle ad hoc requests with accuracy and agility, ensuring the team stays ahead of trends and important business milestones.
- Provide GC Anaplan Support for Sales.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in sales analysis, finance or related field
- Expert with MS Excel
- Anaplan experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills turning insights into action
- Strategic mindset with the ability to bridge data with practical implementation
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills – able to communicate effectively with internal team members and cross functional partners
- Detail oriented and possess the ability to maintain a high level of process accuracy
- One team approach and proven collaborator
- Continuously identify opportunities to refine process, streamline operations and enhance efficiency
The annual base salary range for this position is between $110,000 and $135,000
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
