The Opportunity
Being part of the EMEA Supply Chain Team, the Associate Manager, Demand Planning role is based in France and reports directly into the Senior Supply Chain Manager for France, Italy and Iberia. In this role, you will lead a team of 2. Your role is to lead the Demand Planning team to execute the Business Planning Process framework, S&OP and Demand Planning process for Markets France, Italy and Iberia; to drive continuous improvements, aligned with regional and global best practices.
The EMEA region is a complex, international and dynamic environment and this high-exposure role offers the candidate an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the business and collaborate across functions and countries.
What Your Impact Will Be:
- Drive improvements in Forecast Variance
- Lead the local S&OP process with the Demand Planners and Commercial teams, following the monthly cadence
- Create an independent (most-likely) Demand Plan, using Sales and Marketing inputs. Challenge key stakeholders in the commercial teams to address and close gaps.
- Control the Demand Planning and Submission process
- Manage, coach and develop the team
- Attract, grow and retain Talent
- Key stakeholder management (leadership, commercial, supply chain) across in-scope markets
- Proactively identifying constraints and challenges and developing solutions to mitigate impacts
- Manage Inventory (Levels and health), and align coverage with with business targets
Qualifications
What We’re Looking Fo
- At least 5 - 7 years experience in a supply chain planning role with increasing responsibilities
- Demonstrated experience in running an S&OP process
- People management and development experience, preferably in an international (virtual) environment
- Self assured and skilled communicator both verbally and written including meeting facilitation and presentations
- Ability to perform in a demanding, dynamic and highly visible organisation
- Ability to influence and achieve expected results independently by establishing effective cross-functional & cross-culture relationships
- High level of organizational and time management skills
- Strong problem solving & analytical ability
- Working knowledge of demand planning processes and tools; experience with Anaplan, Tableau and Cognos is a plus
- Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply-Chain or Engineering
- Expert proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
- APICS certification or equivalent a plus
