Job Description

MCA Security Assocate Manager position is responsible for overseeing security management based in Mattel site in Chang An including Manufacturing plant, Warehouse, and Dormitories. The position :

• Leadership:

• Manage the security team at our MCA location. This includes but is not limited to staffing, training, scheduling, development, and performance management. 
• Reviews the performance of security guard and measure key performance indicators (KPI).
  • Responsible for day-to-day operations and providing day-to-day direction to security employees.

• Physical Security :

• Develop standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for all security post and processes.
• Provides security plans for company special events to control access and protect employees.
• Management security system including access control systems, alarm systems, CCTV and visitor management system. Overseeing the installation and maintenance of security equipment. Ensuring all security systems comply with Mattel’s standard.

• Security Policy and Compliance :
  • Implement and ensure compliance with Mattel Global Security policies, procedures, & best practices.  
  • Ensure security department complies with security requirements under SCAN, GSV, C-TPAT, TAPA, IETP, and ISO.

• Incident Management :
  • Responding to incidents and emergencies professionally and promptly.
  • Report, record, investigate and review incidents to identify security related issues and develop and implement strategies to mitigate risk.

• PRODUCT SECURITY:
  • Develop, implement and audit effective security, production and logistic controls for highly sensitive, high-value products, IP, trade secrets, and other special projects in design, development, manufacturing and distribution processes.
  • Correct and communicate deficiencies.

• TRAINING & AWARENESS:
  • Develop and administer facility wide training and awareness programs covering: General Security issues, C-TPAT compliance, loss prevention, product security, and crisis management.

• SECURITY AUDIT:
  • Perform periodic security monitoring, audit and assessment, and report on the physical and product security programs including daily assessment and evaluation of security practices. Identify gaps and correct deficiencies. Track progress on corrective actions.

• DUTY OF CARE :
  • Take all steps that are reasonably possible to ensure all employees’ health, safety.

Qualifications

Candidate Skills and Profile:

• Educational requirements: BA/BS (4-Year relevant College/University Degree) with appropriate vocational training.
• Native or fluent spoken and written Mandarin with good English as a second language.
• Impeccable integrity.
• Eight years' progressive work experience in corporate/private sector in security and investigations management function, including 3-5 years’ experience within a MNC.
• Three years’ experience supporting manufacturing, sourcing, and supply chain operations, particularly in Greater China.
• Knowledge of supply chain security standards (C-TPAT, TAPA)
• Solid understanding of security operations, security procedures, and electronic security systems.
• Critical-thinking skills & problem-solving ability.
• Proven experience as security manager or similar position.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Committed, reliable and teamwork.
• Possession of Intermediate Fire Fighting Operation Certificate (中级消防操作证) is advantage.
