Commercial Finance Manager

The Commercial Finance Manager is a critical leadership role within the MJUS Finance organization and acts as the strategic finance partner to the Commercial team, including direct support for the VP/GM and senior commercial leaders. This role provides advanced financial leadership by delivering deep analytical insight, driving pricing excellence, and strengthening the company's financial planning infrastructure.

The Manager leads the design and enhancement of forecasting processes, implements improved financial systems and tools, and owns key elements of end‑to‑end commercial financial performance. This position requires strong business acumen, cross‑functional influence, and the ability to shape commercial strategy through data‑driven insights.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

Strategic Planning, Forecasting & Performance Management

  • Lead and elevate the annual planning cycle, periodic reforecasts, and multi‑year strategic planning through improved systems, standardized processes, and advanced analytics.
  • Deliver monthly P&L reporting with deeper, more strategic insight - clearly articulating drivers of variances and guiding senior leadership decision‑making.
  • Build and continuously improve forecasting tools, models, and dashboards to increase speed, accuracy, and visibility of financial performance.

Pricing Leadership & Revenue Optimization

  • Own the pricing governance, ensuring disciplined decision‑making and alignment between Finance and Commercial
  • Develop pricing tools, models, and processes that optimize margin and improve promotional efficiency
  • Partner with Commercial leadership to evaluate pricing strategies, elasticity, competitive dynamics, and margin-impacting initiatives.

End‑to‑End Commercial Finance Ownership

  • Manage all financial aspects of revenue, margin, trade spend, and marketing investment, ensuring alignment with company targets
  • Lead financial analysis identifying growth opportunities, risk mitigation strategies, and commercial initiatives that drive long‑term value.
  • Partner closely with Accounting to ensure accurate month-end close, accruals, and financial controls.

Technology, Tools & Process Enhancement

  • Lead the design, implementation, and adoption of enhanced finance tools (forecasting platforms, pricing systems, automated reporting solutions).
  • Drive automation and modernization of reporting, replacing manual processes with scalable, tech‑enabled solutions.

Business Partnering & Leadership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the VP/GM and Commercial leadership team, shaping strategy through strong financial insight and commercial understanding
  • Influence and partner with external (distributors partners) and internal (Commercial, Marketing, Finance) stakeholders - to drive alignment and execution.
  • Mentor junior team members and help build stronger financial capabilities across the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of Commercial Finance and/or FP&A experience, including ownership of pricing, forecasting, or commercial analytics.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Alcohol Beverage or Consumer Products industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, forecasting tools, and financial modeling; experience implementing new systems or technology platforms a plus
  • Strong data analytics capability with proven track record in enhancing financial processes.
  • Strategic, results‑driven finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and builds strong, influential partnerships across the organization.
