Overview

Mastercard Payment Gateway Service (MPGS) is on the lookout for a passionate and innovative Front-End Software Engineer with strong experience in React & Angular. As part of our agile and dynamic team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining cutting-edge customer-facing solutions that are both scalable and secure. We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic about creating exceptional user experiences and driving the future of digital payments.While your primary focus will be on front-end development, you should also have a basic understanding of back-end technologies, enabling effective collaboration with back-end developers and integration of APIs and services.

Role
Design and develop dynamic, user-friendly, and responsive user interfaces using Angular and React.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure that web applications are visually appealing, intuitive, and easy to use.
Implement reusable and maintainable components and front-end architecture.
Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with back-end services and APIs.
Apply basic knowledge of Java/J2EE, Spring, JPA, and RDBMS to better understand the back-end processes and contribute to troubleshooting and debugging when necessary.
Participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) to ensure smooth project delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2-5 years of experience in front-end development, with a basic understanding of back-end technologies

Knowledge/Experience (preferred):
Strong expertise in React & Angular, with a deep understanding of their ecosystems and Spring-boot experience (Backend)
Proven experience building complex web applications from scratch.
Experience with TypeScript and modern frontend build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Strong understanding of version control tools (e.g., Git).
Strong understanding of agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Basic familiarity with Java programming.
