Overview

Do you enjoy writing code that has a global impact? We have a position open in the MasterCard's Dispute Lifecycle Service which is part of the Dispute Program. It is a set of secure services supporting the Chargeback and Case Management cycle.

Role :

As a Senior Software Engineer at Mastercard, you are expected to perform the following general duties:

• Coordinate and participate in review and testing activities to ensure the quality and functionality of assigned MasterCard developed systems.
• Review project test and implementation schedules. Monitor, document, and report the current status of projects. Participate in review of project deliverables.
• Create detailed test plans and data for application testing.
• Perform automated and manual testing and validate results to confirm adherence and conformance to installation standards and methodologies.
• Document problems, monitor resolutions and retain documentation necessary to plan for future assigned testing.
• Adhere to and enforce consistent company and department testing standards and procedures.
• Identify, document, and implement process improvements.
• Apply technical and business knowledge to solve issues.
• Share application knowledge and mentor newer team members
• May be responsible for Test Coordination duties including:
• Defect management and oversight
• Status reporting and metrics creation
• Point of escalation for issues discovered during the testing phase

All about you :
Automated testing :

• Mid-Senior level experience with a firm knowledge of Automation testing, quality practices and protocols that enable the individual to deliver the validations, while meeting established timelines.
• Experience testing across a variety of platforms: web interface, APIs (REST) and Batch Jobs.
• Expertise in software development to build and use automation frameworks using technologies: Java, JUnit, Selenium, JBehave, JMeter, Postman, Spring framework, REST, JSON and XML, Eclipse IDE, etc.

Performance testing :
- Intermediate level experience with fair knowledge of Performance testing, quality practices and protocols that enable the individual to deliver reports according to defined protocol, while meeting established timelines.
• Good experience in Web application and Web services performance testing
• Experience using various test tools such as Load Runner, Storm Runner, JMeter etc.

• Strong communication skills, verbal and written; able to communicate with technical people as well as management and business.
• Ability to be flexible, accountable, reliable, and industrious.
• Ability to manage multiple priority efforts in parallel and ensure Quality Assurance standards are followed.
• Experience working in an Agile environment, including multiple cycle testing and regression.
