Overview:

The Global Partnerships team is seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial AI Commercialization Lead to drive the go-to-market commercialization of our Agentic AI solutions. A next-generation payments breakthrough designed to transform how businesses and users interact with digital payments.
We enable the biggest names in tech, e-commerce, and financial services to build best-in-class solutions leveraging Mastercard technology and to deliver them at scale - solving real world problems for our partners and their customers.
The ideal candidate is passionate about digital payments, Financial Institutions, fintech, and digital assets. They are highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possess an entrepreneurial mindset. Moreover, they function well in a complex and dynamic market environment and in a matrix structure that requires cross collaboration across functions and geographies combining the ability to provide structure as well as manage ambiguity.
Role:
• Define and execute the go-to-market and commercialization strategy for Agentic products and services in collaboration with Core, Services, Commercial New Payment Flows, and regional teams to unlock potential revenue synergies and ensure Agentic AI capabilities align with market needs and customer feedback.

• Build and manage strategic partnerships with various AI platforms to identify high-impact use cases for autonomous agents in payments and lead market entry strategies.
• Partner with internal teams including account management, product management and other enabling organizations to effectively show up as one team in front of the partners.
• Lead all aspects of partner proposals and deal execution (including business case development, commercial terms structuring, negotiations, and legal contracting) in close collaboration with key business partners (e.g., finance, legal, franchise, compliance, regulatory, product, engineering) and regional teams.
• Represent the company as a thought leader in conferences and contribute to the broader conversation around autonomous agents and AI safety.
• Lead pilot programs, co-creation initiatives, and early adopter engagements to validate and scale Agentic AI deployments.
• Define KPIs for adoption, retention, and revenue; continuously optimize commercialization strategies based on data and feedback.

• Early adopter mindset with hands-on experience exploring and applying emerging technologies-especially AI-to unlock new capabilities and drive innovation.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives from ideation to execution
• Deep understanding of autonomous agents, multi-agent systems, and AI orchestration frameworks and/or working with/within payment networks, digital or AI players, digital asset custodians, or emerging tech commercialization companies
• Proven success leading business development and driving complex, impactful strategic partnerships in a fast-paced, quickly evolving environment
• Experience developing, launching, and executing industry-wide partnership strategies and innovative go-to-market models to create new ecosystems and scale new products and solutions in developer-first environments
• Ability to lead the business development process, negotiate externally, and internally to gain alignment and drive deal commercialization
• Technical expertise and/or acumen: you have led or sold technical products, can quickly understand technical concepts and documents, and/or have an engineering or computer science background
• Seasoned leader with relevant experience leading complex, culturally diverse, global cross-functional teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally across a wide variety of functions and technical/non-technical audiences, including at the C level
• High agency, can handle ambiguity in a fast-moving organization, and thrives on a high level of autonomy and responsibility
Total Base Pay Range
220,000.00 - 400,000.00 USD Annual
