You will play a critical role in designing the next generation of Mastercard's business solutions and data-driven products. Our CX&D team (Customer Experience and Design) integrates Behavioural Science, Data, Design & Technology to create future conceptual designs, iterate Design Systems, and develop new product solutions that elevate existing features.

What You'll Do

- Shape Product Direction: Lead generative, evaluative, and longitudinal research studies to influence strategic product decisions and roadmap prioritization.

- Elevate Team's Intelligence: Translate complex human behavior into clear, actionable insights-fast! Make data resonate with Product Owners, Product Designers, Content Design & Marketing.

- Own Research from A-Z: Scope research plans, design and execute studies, synthesize insights, and create compelling narratives that drive action.

- Apply critical thinking skills: Analyze and synthesize findings without bias, recognizing patterns and themes that are formulated into compelling draft stories that articulate insights and implications.

- Champion the User Voice: Be the connective tissue between users and teams. Create space for empathy to thrive in sprints, reviews, and OKR planning.

- Upskill the Org: Mentor cross-functional partners to conduct their own lean research. Scale impact by improving frameworks, tools, and operations.

- Drive Craft Innovation: We'll mentor you into pilot new methods, contribute to our research toolkit, and help shape a best-in-class & innovative research practice for a fast-growing org.

As a Mastercard's CX&D community member, you'd have access to our internal Guild of hundreds of designers, researchers, and strategists, training, and professional development.

What You Bring

- 4+ years of experience in UX Research, preferably in fast-paced, product-led companies (FinTech, SaaS, or B2B/B2C hybrids a plus).

- Deep mastery of mixed methods research-Qualitative and Quantitative, moderated and unmoderated, generative and evaluative.

- Prioritize and evangelize data-driven decision making alongside our Product team.

- Able to support findings with storytelling, usability, and cognitive principles. Strong communication skills-you can tell a story that sticks, and adapts insight delivery for everyone from ICs to execs.

- A track record of impact-your research has directly shaped product features, go-to-market strategies, and long-term vision.

- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and complexity-you're a structured thinker who can carve clarity from chaos.

- Passion for solving problems and being challenged.

- Adaptability - constant willingness to learn and hit the ground running.

- Initiative and ability to collaborate independently.

- Track record of resilience, agility, and ability to thrive in dynamic growth environments.

- You're a doer and clarity is your mantra.

- Curious and passionate about innovating UX Research.

Nice-to-Haves

- Background in Psycology, Cognitive Science or related fields to understand human behaviour & decision-making insights.

- Experience working in fintech, enterprise platforms or startups with UX&R methodologies.

- Quantitative skills in survey design, data visualization or statistical tools.

- Hands-on experience with Figma, Maze or similar User Testing solutions.

- Passion for ethical research practices and inclusive design.
