Overview:
A Health and Safety Officer's job is to ensure a safe and healthy workplace by identifying hazards, conducting risk assessments, developing and implementing safety policies, investigating incidents, and providing training and guidance to employees.

The Role:
Identify Hazards and Conduct Risk Assessments:
Regularly assess the workplace for potential hazards and risks, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
Develop and Implement Safety Policies and Procedures:
Create and update health and safety policies and procedures that comply with relevant legislation and industry best practices.
Provide Training and Guidance:
Train employees on health and safety procedures, equipment, and hazards specific to their roles, ensuring they understand their responsibilities.
Investigate Incidents and Accidents:
Thoroughly investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Monitor and Inspect Workplace:
Regularly inspect the workplace to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and identify any potential hazards or unsafe conditions.
Liaise with Authorities and Stakeholders:
Work with regulatory authorities, trade unions, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and industry standards.
Keep Records and Reports:
Maintain accurate records of health and safety incidents, inspections, training, and other relevant information, and prepare reports as required.
Advise Management:
Provide advice and recommendations to management on health and safety matters to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.
Stay Up-to-date:
Keep abreast of changes in health and safety legislation and best practices.

All About You
- occupation as an occupational health and safety technician and at least 3 years of work experience in the occupational health and safety service, or
- a university degree in occupational health and safety or a postgraduate degree (of 1 year's duration) in occupational health and safety.
- Fluency in Polish and English
