Overview
-The Customer Access Team is a dedicated collection of self-organizing, high performing, interdependent, co-located individuals representing different functional roles with all the necessary skills to create the foundational capabilities that application teams develop on top of it. This team leads with mission to provide overall stewardship of enterprise grade application architecture & design within the context of holistic software development. This includes driving the architecture & design decisions and building consensus around it. The team leads the exploration in software architecture & technology innovations along with enabling excellence in overall team.

-Senior Engineers at MasterCard lead architectural and framework initiatives, contribute across the software development lifecycle-including design, implementation, and code reviews-and promote best practices and compliance across teams.

Role
Essential responsibilities of the position:
- Apply DevOps practices: CI/CD, monitoring (e.g. Splunk, Dynatrace), logging, config management (e.g. Chef, Habitat), and automation (e.g. JMeter, BlazeMeter, playwright).
- Build Spring Boot applications, REST APIs, and work with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Maintain and enhance services with minimal oversight.
- Debug and support Tier 1 applications; simplify complex systems.
- Define features and deliver impactful, user-focused products.
- Identify and resolve performance issues.
- Guide teams on standards, automation, and tooling

All about you
- DevOps expertise: CI/CD, monitoring/logging (Splunk, Dynatrace), config management (Chef, Habitat), and automation tools (JMeter, BlazeMeter).
- Good experience with Java Springboot, RESTful services, and application server design.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Passion for learning and staying current with emerging tools and technologies.
