Senior Content Strategy Analyst (Technical Writer)
Overview
The Mastercard Developers - Internal Products team is looking for a Senior Content Strategy Analyst / Technical Writer to deliver technical content that allows clients to navigate Mastercard's self-service tools and optimizes the customer user experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about the developer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.
Responsibilities
• Establishes a framework for developing and distributing consistent, reliable content to customers
• Serves as a subject matter expert capable of independently resolving most issues while keeping senior leaders informed of any potential risk
• Collaborate with internal resources and Mastercard business partners to drive the design of a content framework that meets end user requirements and increases reusability of content
• Establishes and communicates standards for information types, structures, and assembly so that content is organized logically with the end-user in mind
• Partners with developers to construct style sheets and ensure consistency of language and product references
• Provides architectural and technical guidance to less experienced team members
• Author in markdown, a tool utilized for content creation and editing
Experiences
• Experience in HTML/XML/API/Markdown
• Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
• Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn new technology programs and process to drive innovation through ingenuity, creativity, and thoughtful risks
• Experience with OpenAPI specification tools, such as Swagger, is highly desirable
