Overview:
As a member of our Finance Operations Team, you will have an opportunity to add value to the MasterCard Technologies business unit worldwide. This role includes divisional support including reporting, cost analysis, and related processes.

About the Role:
• Monthly accounting tasks including expense journal entries, accruals and prepaid amortization
• Participate and support Senior Analysts in the preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecast processes
• Variance analysis and cost center management
• Ensure monthly/quarterly financial reports and related analyses are prepared timely as required by corporate guidelines
• Assist in the development of cost models for project justifications, savings identification and financial performance improvements
• Supporting the divisions to achieve spending targets
• Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly divisional reporting including financial risks and opportunities
• Assist with ad hoc special projects and financial analyses as assigned

About You:
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and results oriented, focused on challenging the status quo, aligning expectations, and leading efficiencies through ongoing process improvement.
• Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting required
• CPA and/or MBA preferred
• Strong Excel skills required. Exposure to Oracle and Hyperion a plus.
• Strong communication skills
• Proven track record of managing relationships across a matrix organization, with strong communication and influencing skills
• Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to perform in ambiguous situations
• Willingness to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with changing priorities
• Results oriented with a proven track record of successfully driving continuous process improvements
