Making sure we have a consistent go to market by coordinating the different sales teams with special focus in Platforms is an important area of focus for the LAC sales team. We are seeking a Principal to be part of the Go to market and Platform Sales team for Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) to act as a focal point in our go to market strategies in the region and a central hub for coordinate the activities of the different sales teams within the region.

The role will report directly to the Platform Sales Lead for Latin America & Caribbean (LAC)

Key Responsibilities of the area :

Go to market
• Represent LAC in Global Go-to-market initiatives
• Support deployment of key sales enablers across LAC (operational models, products, frameworks )
• Drive strategic initiatives for Services in LAC and serve as focal point in close collaboration with other Services areas in LAC

Platforms
• Enable and organize Platform Sales efforts across LAC with shared revenue responsibility for sales
• Accelerate cross-selling, user pay and recurring Revenue
• Serve as focal point with Global Platform teams to align priorities
• Share bests practices and offerings available and coordinate sales efforts
• Partner with SBL teams to ensure appropriate coordination between different sales teams (planning, strategies, pipeline, cross-selling)

Regional Alignment
• Represent Services business development function in regional interactions with other areas:
• Coordinate the deployment key initiatives to evolve Services relationship with Core fostering a solid partnership

All About You
Creative problem-solving skills with proven strength in navigating complex organizational matrix
• Ability to connect the dots across sales teams and platforms, to optimize sales efforts within a region. Ability to work across multiple teams to coordinate sales efforts
• Strong sales acumen and negotiation skills to identify cross sell opportunities, overcome objections, and close revenue-generating initiatives
• Strong networking and relationship building skills. Capability to navigate across the internal Mastercard organization to accelerate collaboration and influence across matrixed reporting structures
• Ability to quickly learn multiple, complex, specialized platform offerings
• Demonstrates the ability to develop "out of the box" solutions and to create support for initiatives across organization and geographies
• Ability to translate Global strategies into the market
• Lead complex, international, cross-functional programs
• Ability to influence and motivate others to achieve objectives of the business across the region
• Growth mindset, comfortable navigating in rapidly changing environments. Experience working in an international and matrix environment is highly desirable
• Experience managing P&Ls to successful outcomes including navigating market and regulatory dynamics
• Strong people leader with the ability to build highly motivated and successful teams.
• Strong written, presentation and verbal communications skills. Acts with a sense of urgency and strong track record on delivering results
• Languages: English. Desirable: Spanish and/or Portuguese
