Manager, Technology Regulatory Execution

Overview

The Technology Regulatory Lead will support the Vice President, Program Management, to ensure that Mastercard maintains the appropriate level of oversight, controls, and risk management across all its technology businesses in the region. This role involves active participation in governance meetings, and reporting for both internal stakeholders and external entities such as regulators and central banks.

Role

Regulatory Oversight and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and standards.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of regulatory expectations and changes.
• Implement and monitor controls to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Risk Management:

• Identify, assess, and manage technology-related risks.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure the effectiveness of controls.

Governance and Reporting:

• Organize and participate in governance meetings to discuss regulatory and risk management issues.
• Prepare and present reports to internal stakeholders, including senior management and the board of directors.
• Liaise with external regulators and central banks, providing necessary Stakeholder Engagement.
• Collaborate with various departments, including IT, legal, and compliance, to ensure a cohesive approach to regulatory compliance and risk management.

Crisis management:

• Lead the tech team during a crisis moment
• Identify & managed the appropriate follow up

All about you

Education:

-Bachelor's degree in information technology, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
-Advanced degree or professional certification in regulatory compliance or risk management is preferred.

Experience:

-Minimum of 3 years of experience in a regulatory compliance or risk management role within the technology sector.
-Proven track record of managing regulatory relationships and compliance programs.
-Experience in preparing and presenting reports to senior management and external regulators.

Skills:

-Good understanding of Authorization clearing and settlement environment
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
