Overview
The Manager, Credit Products, will support the development, management, and execution of the consumer credit product line strategy (PLS) globally, reporting to the VP, Global Credit. This role will support various product initiatives across the Global Consumer Credit team including but not limited to PLS strategy, CVP design & development, credit product operations & governance, economics, commercialization support (e.g., high-priority RFP, optimization & marketing services, etc.), and benefit presentment & delivery strategy.

Role
• Develop and maintain up-to-date consumer and market insights and intelligence to identify PLS/CVP opportunities globally.
• Support the relevant research activities that inform both the current and future credit products at a global, regional, or country level that will enhance existing product lines.
• Support the development and management of product governance framework and forum.
• Support the effort in managing and enhancing product operations and core product requirements globally by partnering with key functional stakeholders such as legal, compliance, franchise, engineering, etc.
• Support the development of differentiated value propositions to meet the current and emerging needs of consumers and customers; identify critical internal and external benefits and platforms that will be required to fulfill the end value proposition, including the definition of a Minimum Viable Product.
• Work with the regional product teams to execute against the global PLS/credit product strategy, including but not limited to ensuring ongoing CVP modernization/optimization, providing PLS toolkits, and more.
• Support the development of internal and external product narratives, including FSMs, by partnering with product marketing and regional product teams.
• Support account teams to win high-priority deals and manage critical customer engagements by developing and delivering competitive product responses in collaboration with regional and functional stakeholders.

All About You/Key Requirements
• 5+ years of financial institution/payment industry experience. Experience in credit card product management or relevant experience is a plus.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to provide creative solutions that drive positive results to consumers, customers, and Mastercard.
• Ability to translate consumer insights into actionable product strategies and plans oriented around driving business growth, positive customer experience, and brand perception.
• Good P&L knowledge around credit products, including key drivers of revenue and expenses, both for schemes and issuers.
• Strong interpersonal skills including an ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across the globe (e.g., IMC, Cardholder Services, Regional product teams, Services, etc.).
• Strong execution capability, driving for excellence in quality as well as delivery on time.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn, an ability to challenge the status quo with a constructive attitude.
