Join our Batch Signals Processing team in Budapest as a Lead Data Engineer and help shape the big data flows that power our identity solutions. Job Description
Work as part of a big data engineering team
Work with cutting edge big data platforms and technologies
Build and own optimized and scalable code and algorithms
Be responsible for the performance, integration, and the automated tests of your code
Participate in and lead development tasks and projects
Cross-team collaboration
Deploy, monitor, and maintain large-scale cloud applications (AWS)
Independently analyze, propose,, plan, and develop solutions for complex technical problems and issues
Communicate closely and effectively with engineering teams and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, share project status, and deal with unexpected issues
All about you
Computer science or related degree and five or more years of experience in software development
Experience with data storage and processing systems (ETL) and big data platforms in AWS (Databricks, Redis / Elasticache, Spark)
Experience in functional programming languages and projects (Scala, Clojure or similar)
Relevant experience in software development (Java, Python, .Net)
Experience in working with, planning, designing, and analyzing (big) data systems.
Experience in all phases of the software development life cycle: requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, monitoring, and maintenance
Ability to write clean code that works, is readable, maintainable, and follows best practices.
