Title and Summary
Director, TECH Regulatory Execution
The Technology Regulatory Lead will support the Vice President, Program Management, to ensure that Mastercard maintains the appropriate level of oversight, controls, and risk management across all its technology businesses in the region. This role involves active participation in governance meetings, and reporting for both internal stakeholders and external entities such as regulators and central banks.
Role
Regulatory Oversight and Compliance:
oEnsure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and standards.
oDevelop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of regulatory expectations and changes.
oLead Regulatory audits
oImplement and monitor controls to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Risk Management:
oIdentify, assess, and manage technology-related risks.
oDevelop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
oConduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure the effectiveness of controls.
Governance and Reporting:
oOrganize and participate in governance meetings to discuss regulatory and risk management issues.
oPrepare and present reports to internal stakeholders, including senior management and the board of directors.

oLiaise with external regulators and central banks, providing necessary documentation and reports.
Stakeholder Engagement:
oCollaborate with various departments, including IT, legal, and compliance, to ensure a cohesive approach to regulatory compliance and risk management.
oAct as a point of contact for regulatory inquiries and audits.
oProvide guidance and training to staff on regulatory requirements and best practices.
Crisis management:
oLead the tech team during a crisis moment
oIdentify & managed the appropriate follow up
