Director, Product Management - Processing

Overview:
This role will have responsibility for leading the development of product level strategy, go-to-market planning and execution, be a communications champion internally and externally to build awareness and excitement of the Mastercard Processing strategic vision. The role will require partnering with product leaders and key internal stakeholders to support region's key Initiatives and deliver processing solutions based on customer needs, competitive intelligence, and market trends. Leverage and advance the team's use of product management principles to; align and prioritize initiatives with forward looking strategic view and successfully commercialize platform capabilities both internally and externally with customers.

Major Accountabilities:

• Define strategy to scale Processing platform in Middle East Africa and grow the platform as the base enabler for other MA products, services and regional initiatives.
• Be a thought leader and partner with senior management across the organization, including both technology and business to create and deploy new ideas and concepts that meet the needs of the high growth payments ecosystem. Develop plans to ensure that Mastercard Processing solutions align with the required needs
• Drive product commercialization by developing and executing product development and go-to-market strategies and activities throughout the entire PME framework to effectively and efficiently bring products to market.
• Create a strong product management culture and build, lead & groom team of product managers and product specialists.
• Supports the development of new products or initiatives in anticipation of, or response to customer needs, market trends, and competitive opportunities
• Work with existing partners and identifies new partners to deliver the Mastercard Processing strategy and product roadmap.
• Work with the account and global product team in the qualification and prioritization of pipeline and cross-sell opportunities
• Partner with account teams to execute sales opportunities, developing proposals and presentations and closing opportunities.
• Stays abreast of industry trends, regulations and competitive products in processing domain in order to strategically identify and target improvement opportunities.

All about you:
• you have advanced product management knowledge, with extensive experience working on product and proposition launches in multiple markets
• you have experience in Issuer or Acquirer Processing
• you have experience in product management or product delivery or for a complex payment product or service
• you have a proven ability to manage complex product/platform with a wide range of prospects
• you able to lead conversations at both a business and technical level
• Payments knowledge - either at a service provider (bank, PSP fintech, payment network), or with payments/processing solution provider
• Effective Communications - story telling, visual presentation, thinking on your feet, handling customer objections and questions, managing the conversation
• Influencing/Value Selling - understanding prospect needs and how they define value, adapting your message to the audience, illustrating value over features
• Sales- scoping, qualification, proposal writing, presentations, closing and customer agreements
• Solutions Development - presenting solutions to solve real pain points, clearly communicating value, architecting a full solution
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or equivalent work experience.
