Role Overview

We're seeking a visionary Product Development Director to lead the creation of next-generation solutions within our New Product Development portfolio. This role is ideal for someone with deep product management expertise, a passion for building from zero-to-one, and bonus points for experience in adtech or digital media ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to define, develop, and launch innovative products from concept to market.
• Own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for high-impact initiatives aligned with Mastercard's strategic goals.
• Partner with engineering, design, CX&D, and data teams to prototype, test, and iterate on new product ideas - overseeing the development of features in the product roadmap
• Prioritize development of features as they align against product strategy
• Define product usage metrics and work with development teams to monitor
• Identify issues, risks, and dependencies to track product development
• Build strong working relationships with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders
• Act as connector to ensure commercial and technological success of our products by working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales and Marketing, Technology teams, Data Strategy)
• Drive customer discovery, market validation, and competitive analysis to inform product direction.
• Develop compelling business cases, go-to-market strategies, and stakeholder alignment materials.
• Apply Mastercard frameworks to ensure scalable success. Championing a culture of experimentation, agility, and customer-centricity.

About you

• 10+ years of experience in product management, preferably in fintech, payments, or digital platforms.
• Proven track record of launching new products and scaling them in dynamic environments.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to navigate ambiguity with clarity and confidence.
• Experience with adtech, martech, or data-driven media platforms is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence across a matrixed organization.
• Natural problem solver: analytical, curious, and fact-driven approach to product development.
• Agile product management in data products, writing and gathering product requirements, gap analysis, and business case development
• The ability to deal with multiple and competing priorities, structure and manage work streams, and set clear expectations and deadlines
