Director, People Business Partner

• The People Business Partner Director, South Division is responsible for the development and implementation of HR strategies and management of human resources activities, will act as a positive cultural change agent and business advisor in partnering with the region employees, manager and executive teams in enabling the execution of business objectives; work in close collaboration with other LAC and Global HR colleagues to execute against initiatives. This position reports to the Senior Vice President, People & Capability, LAC, and is based in Bogota, Colombia.

Role

• The individual in this role will be a key member in developing and executing against strategic initiatives designed to enhance P&C effectiveness and delivery, and is responsible for developing and deploying P&C best practices to business stakeholders, LAC P&C colleagues and the global P&C community.
• Create & shape the human resources strategy for Division South Markets - Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Venezuela, Peru and others, setting all the pillars and initiatives according to the business drivers.
• Act as an advisor of the company and business stakeholders, providing support and coaching to the organization and leaders across the team, as part of the executive leadership team.
• Manage the day-to-day aspects of one or more complex projects; partner with key stakeholders across business verticals at large to ensure the timely coordination and execution of plans and activities.
• Innovate and create new best practices and initiatives to make sure Mastercard has the best-valued proposition to attract the best talent across the globe, keeping and enhancing the reputation of a great place to work company to work for being a strategic stakeholder not only for our P&C community but for our business.

All About You

• Demonstrated 10+ years of strong People Business Partner experience in a multi-country environment, preferably in technology, consumer and goods, or retail companies.
• Led change management processes and transformational cultural processes in high-performance organizations. Experience building high-collaborative cultures and environments.
• Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree and/or certification in HR preferred; MBA or Master Degree is desired.
• Languages: English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Demonstrated capabilities to anticipate customer needs, focus outside in and data
• Extensive experience in employee relations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives exercising sound judgment, solutions orientation and flexibility.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and across multiple geographies, people management skills and development, strong leadership capabilities, change agent skills and deal with ambiguity.
• Must have strong analytical, presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Availability to travel.
