The ideal candidate understands digital and social media, quickly connects ideas, and has strong marketing and commercial skills. They are keenly attuned to the cultural diversity in Asia to ensure the brand's local relevance.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop a cohesive digital and partnerships strategy to support Mastercard's primary objectives of growing cross-border revenue, enriching its experiences marketplace, and monetizing marketing assets. This role involves managing and evolving Mastercard's digital platforms such as priceless.com and priceless specials.
The successful candidate will identify, develop, and manage strategic and monetizable marketing partnerships with partners in areas such as music, culinary arts, cinema, lifestyle, etc., to enhance Mastercard's value to its issuer and merchant partners. This includes negotiating, managing, and executing end-to-end partnerships and digital marketing processes, while closely collaborating with a diverse cross-functional team to achieve marketing returns, revenue targets, and increased market share with customers.
Additionally, the role ensures consistency in Mastercard's brand messaging across all channels and touchpoints, tailoring strategies to fit the cultural and market dynamics of each country in the Asia Pacific region. The incumbent must use data to measure performance, identify trends, optimize programs for better ROI, and provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership. Over time, they must build, mentor, and lead a high-performing digital marketing team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, and Global Marketing, to ensure cohesive messaging and strategic alignment. It also involves overseeing relationships with external agencies and partners to ensure deliverables meet brand standards and performance expectations. Staying ahead of digital marketing trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behaviors within the Asia Pacific region to drive innovative marketing solutions is essential. The successful candidate will manage projects, P&L, and end-to-end executions in a timely manner.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
12+ years of experience in marketing, with a keen understanding of strategy and P&L management.
Proven track record of leading successful digital marketing initiatives in a multinational environment.
Analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, platforms, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
Experience managing budgets and forecasting marketing spend.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong sense of adaptability.
